Breast Cancer Prevention

Breast cancer prevention doesn't just involve drugs and medical remedies, which are the usual traditional methods for the prevention of breast cancer. Two well-known clinical trials sponsored by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) for preventing breast cancer are the Breast Cancer Prevention Trial (BCPT) and the Study of Tamoxifen and Raloxifen (STAR). Breast cancer and prevention methods have the STAR method as one of the largest studies with one of the largest breast cancer prevention studies available. The BCPT study was that of increased risk for breast cancer in relation to the drug tamoxifen, and the reduction of the disease in the studied population.
